We got a glimpse into the future at the Girls CS8 Conference Meet as Ozzy Erewele, Tina Martin and Serena Bolden gave us the fastest 100 meter dash in CS8 history, setting the stage for what these girls plan to do at the State Track Finals later this month. Erewele and Martin also broke the 200 meter dash record while Bolden broke both the long and triple jump records in what was a record-setting day at Eisenhower.
In team scores Springfield High won their fifth straight CS8 Conference Meet with a final tally of 149 points. Normal U High came in second with 111 points.
