Rochester had given themselves a chance against Glenwood ace Jacob Maton on Tuesday. Cam Edmonson’s two run home run pulled the Rockets into a 3-3 tie in the top of the fifth, but the Titans pushed seven across in the bottom of the sixth to blow the game open for good.
Glenwood and Normal U-High both trail Rochester in the loss column of the CS8 standings by one game now. The Rockets will host Glenwood at 4:30 on Wednesday.
