Althoff was on the offensive early and often against Springfield High Wednesday night, going up 2-0 before heading into halftime, but with starting goalkeeper Rachel Monken knocked out of the second half, the Senators had a chance to fight their way back into it. The Althoff defense stood strong, however, and added a Jessica Hoffman goal to put the finishing touches on a 3-0 road win over the Senators in a non-conference matchup.
