Katryel Clark has been on an absolute tear in the playoffs for Auburn thus far, but it was Tri-City who put a halt to that for three quarters in the Riverton Sectional Semifinal. Three quarters, however, isn’t enough to get it done. Clark dominated the fourth quarter of a tight contest between Tri-City and Auburn to give the Trojans a 45-36 win.
Clark finished with a game-high 15 points and 12 rebounds. Abbie Divjak added 14 points and Hannah Smith had 12 for the Trojans. Ashlyn Sturdy had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Tri-City in the loss. Auburn will play Pleasant Plains in the Sectional Championship Thursday night.
