The Senators were angry on Thursday night at Belz Gym. After locking up the CS8 title at Glenwood on Saturday, SHS took a loss to Rochester earlier this week and wanted to bounce back on track before heading into the playoffs next week against Glenwood. They did more than bounce back. The Senators jumped out on the Cyclones with a 21-3 lead after one quarter, and didn’t let off the gas, eventually coming away with a 70-51 win.
Savannah Schoeben and Abby Ratsch had 16 each for SHS as Ashley Robinson added 13 in the win. Springfield High will play Glenwood at Glenwood Wednesday night in the 4A playoffs.
