The Southeast Spartans came into Normal with the #1 ranking in Class 3A and found themselves trailing by 6 to U-High in the 3rd quarter. That’s when the Spartans kicked it up a couple of notches on defense and the Pioneers wilted under the pressure as Southeast pulled away late to get the 60-49 road win. Anthony Fairlee lead all scores for Southeast with 20 points while teammate Kobe Medley added 19 (including 4 3-pointers in the first half). Southeast moves to 11-1 in the CS8 and 18-2 overall with the win while Normal U-High falls to 6-7 in the CS8 and 10-13 overall.
