Riverton made a surprise appearance in the Sangamon County Semifinals after beating Pleasant Plains in the first round, but New Berlin wouldn’t let them do it again. The Pretzel bigs came up huge in a 57-42 win that saw both Max Day and Casey Bixby in double figures with 13 and 11 respectively. Spencer Yoggerst had a game-high 14 for Riverton in the loss.
New Berlin will play Williamsville in the County Tournament Final Friday night at Lincoln Land Community College.
