Jack Richards got hot in the first half from behind the arc and Nic Laird did the same in the second half to push Athens past Lutheran High for a 74-59 win in the Waverly Holiday Tournament quarterfinals.
Drayton Davis had 23, Richards had 22 for the Warriors who get New Berlin in the semifinal on Thursday night at 8 p.m.
