Maroa-Forsyth led for just 64 seconds in Saturday’s 20-16 2A quarterfinal win over West Hancock but it was the 64 seconds that matter. The Trojans overcame a 16-0 half time deficit and Deondre Gregory scored his third touchdown of the day with 1:04 left in the game to give Maroa the lead for good.
The Trojans advance to next Saturday’s 2A semifinal where they’ll travel to Shelbyville.
