Down 13-0 at the half, SHG fought back but it was too little, too late as Nazareth Academy beat the Cyclones 20-17 in the 6A quarterfinals at Ken Leonard field on Saturday.
Matt Brenneisen scored a rushing touchdown and Sam Sweetland hit Spencer Redd for a 62 yard touchdown with just over three minutes to play to bring the Cyclones within three.
