Taylorville quarterback Brandon Odam completed 20-of-36 passes for 221 yards and five touchdowns on Saturday as the Tornadoes cruised to a 42-7 win over Coal City in the opening round of the 4A post season. Just for good measure, he ran for another score.
Justin Wright caught a pair of those Odam scores, while Jagger Moore, Trey Writes and Evan Champley each tallied one as well.
Taylorville will travel to Herscher (9-1) next weekend.
