Pleasant Plains came out on top against North Mac Friday night 28-21 in a crazy Sangamo game. Ben Reinert tossed two touchdowns to Kai Carlberg and Nik Samson had two scores on the ground for the Cardinals. Jake Mulink suffered a scary injury at the beginning of the game that sent him to the hospital, but rejoined the team in the locker room after the game. Chris Rouse and Jake VanAusdall filled in for Mulink and almost completed the comeback, but fell just short in the final minutes.
