Braden Willoughby – Maroa-Forsyth’s ace led the Trojans to the sectionals and a second place finish in the Sangamo.
TJ Painter – Pleasant Plains’ lefty led the Cardinals to the sectional championship as a junior with a marginal earned run average.
Reid Detmers – If you haven’t heard about him, this is probably your first time on our website. The Louisville commit was incredible in his only season as a Titan.
Sam Baker – Rochester’s ace led the Rockets to a split of the CS8 title with Glenwood.
Jacob Maton – Glenwood’s two-headed monster this season shut down opponents and struck guys out at an incredible rate. We’re glad Maton’s back next season before heading to Coastal Carolina.
Beau Atkins – The Riverton Hawks came on late in the season and even handed Plains their only conference loss. Atkins was a huge reason why.
Austin Chapman – SHG beat Rochester when it mattered most because of the Cyclone strike out machine. Chapman’s command made SHG a tough team in the CS8.
Adam Deal – He’s already set a new school record for strikeouts and he’s got another year left. The Morrisonville hurler struck out opponents at an unmatched rate in the MSM.
Austin Newton – Every time he took the mound, the Railsplitters had an excellent chance to win. Newton kept Lincoln alive in the regional championship and was consistent all season.
Austin Troemper – Springfield High stayed at the top of the CS8 because of the returner Troemper who’s headed to play at Lincoln Land next season.
