Illini Central scored four runs in the third inning, all with two outs but after a talk from Dave Greer, the Cardinals score seven runs in the bottom of the third and went on to win 12-4.
Pleasant Plains got three hits and two RBI from Sep Mattera, two hits and two RBI from Cadel Hortberg. The Cardinals host Williamsville on Friday evening.
