Springfield High had to travel down to Collinsville for the 4A Normal sectional semifinal, the game moved to accommodate the Edwardsville Tigers.
The Senators hung around for the better part of two and a half quarters but the Tigers pulled away in the third for a 67-47 win to end Springfield High’s season.
Ashley Robinson led the Senators in scoring, while Kate Martin led the Tigers.
