Max Day scored a game high 22 points including the only field goal in overtime as New Berlin overcame a 10 point deficit to beat Lutheran 52-44 in their opener of the Gene Bergschneider Turkey Tournament. Hunter Stockton added 16 as the Pretzels move to 1-0 under new head coach Blake Lucas.
Lutheran, who led 30-20 late in the third quarter, was paced by Jacob Pfeiffer’s 10 points.
