Pleasant Plains Boys And Girls Victorious At Rocket Invite

**CORRECTION: Our results were missing the final event of the boys meet. Pleasant Plains edged New Berlin 97-96 to win the boys side of the meet too. 
 


The New Berlin boys track team edged out Pleasant Plains, 88-87 to claim first place in the Rocket Invite. The Pleasant Plains girls edged Rochester 117-113 to win the girls side of the 17-team invitational. 

Freshman Tristen Tewes of Pleasant Plains finished first in the high jump, as did his sister, Hope Tewes, who set a personal best, school record and meet record at 5'8''. 

New Berlin's 4×100 relay set a new school record with a time of 44.49 and Pleasant Plains' Tyler Johnson set the meet record in the 3200 meter by 13 seconds witha time of 9:34.11.

In the 100 meter dash, New Berlin's Kahlil Wassell edged out Williamsville's Connor Icenogle, 11.054 to 11.06. 

Rochester's Jack Cable set a meet record in the 800 meter with a time of 1:55.67. 

Williamsville's Abbey Galusha finished second the the 800 meter and the Pleasant Plains 800 meter relay set a meet record by finishing in first place.
