Lincoln's dream post season run ended one step short of the state tournament on Monday in a 48-40 loss to Highland at the 3A UIS Supersectional. Railers' standout sophomore Kaelyn Froebe picked up two fouls less than two minutes in. The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and would never trail.

Hannah Cameron scored a team high 10 points for the Railers in her final game. Cameron was the only senior on a team that put the stamp on an about face for the Lady Railers program which had meddled in irrelevancy for years.
