In front of a sold out crowd at Scheffler Gymnasium Southeast completed a season sweep of Lanphier, with a 69-64 win. With the Lions loss and Glenwood defeat to Lincoln, the Spartans grabbed a share of the CS8 title along with Lanphier, Glenwood and Jacksonville.
Trevyon Williams dazzled, scoring 24 points on 10-of-15. Jordan Stapleton and D'Angelo Hughes both contibuted with 11 points each and Isaiah Walton and Anthony Fairlee both chipped in with eight points.
Xavier Bishop scored a team high 20 points for the Lions.
