Lincoln's unlikely postseason run continued as the Railsplitters upset Ohio State commit Tori McCoy and the St. Thomas Sabres in the 3A Clinton Sectional Championship. Lincoln advances to the UIS Super Sectional to take on Highland at 7 p.m. Monday.
Kaelyn Froebe led Lincoln with 19 points, following up her 22 point effort against Rochester in the Sectional Semfinal. Kennedy Lolling added 10 points, Hailie Williams chipped in with nine points and Hannah Cameron tallied six points.
Tori McCoy paced St. Thomas More with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
