Montshianna Pulliam scored 10 of her 15 points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead put back with under 40 seconds remaining to give Springfield a 44-42 win over Rochester to earn a share of the CS8 title.
Rochester was attempting to go two consecutive seasons without a loss in conference play, but despite the loss, the Rockets will still share the conference title with the Senators.
Kyra Webster also added nine points for Springfield. Angela Perry didn't start due to an illness, but the junior forward still led the Rockets with a team high 14 points. Kylie Clemens chipped in with seven points.
