SHG jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Glenwood responded by scoring five unanswered goals in the second period. The Cyclones closed the game on a 6-1 run, though, to advance to the LLHSH Championship game with an 8-6 win.
The Cyclones will take on Decatur next Wednesday for the Lincoln Land High School Hockey Championship.
Jack Healy netted a hat trick for the Cyclones, including the go ahead goal late in the third period. Evan Wellman also netted three goals for SHG and Zachary Eddington added one goal and three assists. Brandon Hay scored two goals for Glenwood.
