There were some strong showings at the 2A Springfield High wrestling regional on Saturday that may have been overshadowed by the Glenwood weigh in gaffe and Springfield's subsequent title march.
Lanphier senior Edthao Crumb earned vengeance on his only loss of the season which came at the hands of Glenwood freshman Will Putnam. Crumb improved to 23-1 on the season with a 6-2 win over Putnam in the heavyweight finals.
Springfield's Terrion Taborn (220 lbs), Glenwood's Hunter Crumly (195 lbs) and Rochester's Brice Casey each grabbed impressive wins on Saturday as well.
