Springfield High's Aly Goff and Pleasant Plains' Tyler Johnson both brought home seventh place individual finishes in the 2A girls and 1A boys races respectively at the state cross country meet at Detweiler Park in Peoria on Saturday. PORTA twin sister's Maria and Adrienne Brauer completed their careers with strong showings in the 1A girls race and Rochester freshman Katherine Petty, the 2A Decatur sectional champion did not finish her race, and was taken to a local hospital via ambulance.
