The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers were as dominant as a team can be in the first set, winning 25-6 on Thursday night in the Class 1A Pawnee sectional championship game against Lincolnwood.
The Hilltoppers would control a run from the Lancers in the second set and take the two set sweep 25-6, 25-22 to win the sectional crown and advance to the Elite Eight where they will play Cissna Park in the Effingham St. Anthony supersectional at 1 p.m. for a spot in the Final Four at Redbird Arena next week.
