Pleasant Plains beat New Berlin 25-23, 25-13 on Thursday and in the process the Cardinals moved into sole possession of second place in the Sangamo conference behind Williamsville. Ali Pankey had a game high five kills for the Plains and Shelby Craven led the way with nine assists.
Williamsville plays New Berlin on Tuesday and a Bullets win would mean an outright Sangamo title. If Williamsville loses, Plains would have to beat PORTA to score a two way tie for the conference crown.
