Easterday, Cavalier Offense Don’t Skip A Beat In Quarterfinal Victory Over Williamsville


 

Jarret Easterday tossed two tds in the first quarter to give the Cavaliers a 14-0 lead over the Williamsville Bullets. The Bullets would finally get on the board late in the second quarter as QB Damon Coady snuck it in from a yard out to make the score 14-7 headed into the half.

Carlinville would receive the second half kickoff and capitalize on an Easterday keeper to make the score 21-7 with 9:30 let int the third. The Bullets would answer just to plays into their next drive as Damon Coady would find Scott O’Conner for a 45 yard td. The Cavies would then go on a 65 yard drive of their own that was finished off by an Easterday td to Jake Ambuel. The Cavaliers would take a 28-14 led headed into the fourth. Both teams would trade touchdowns in the fourth quarter as the Carlinville Cavaliers would move onto a 3A semi-final by beating the Williamsville Bullets 35-21.
