Gavin Clifton led the Maroa offense as he ran for two touchdowns in the first half. Maroa led 24-6 headed into halftime. Auburn only trailed by 11 points in the third quarter after Destin Chance’s second rushing td. A Maroa scoop and score with 5:32 left in the 3rd quarter broke the game open as the Trojans took the 31-13 over Auburn. With the 45-13 win over Auburn, Maroa-Forsyth captured the outright Sangamo title.
