When Rochester needed a big play they dialed up Senior Cade Eddington and the senior came up big with a 75 yard touchdown reception from Clay Bruno to give Rochester the lead for good late in the 3rd quarter as the Rockets move to 4-0 with a big 22-14 road win at Decatur MacArthur.
The Rockets took an early 6-0 lead in 2nd quarter but the Generals fought back with a Derrick Taylor 65 yard touchdown run and a Deyon Jackson 24 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Cunningham to give MacArthur the 14-9 lead. Rochester got the lead back for good with the Bruno to Eddington touchdown pass and then Bruno sealed the deal with a 6 yard touchdown run late in the 4th quarter.
MacArthur falls to 3-1 overall with the loss while Rochester goes to 4-0 as the Rockets head into Springfield next Friday night for the Leonard Bowl vs SHG.
