Alton Marquette’s Meghan Schurman, a pitcher who has terrorized area offenses in the past, did it again to Tri-City on Thursday afternoon. The Tornadoes could only muster one hit and struck out ten times against Schurman as Alton Marquette piled on eight runs, including a Tess Eberlin three run bomb, to move on to play Williamsville Saturday Morning for the 2A Gillespie Sectional Championship.
