Locked into a defensive battle through the first few innings, Williamsville was able to scratch out runs and beat Pleasant Plains 6-2 on Saturday to win the 2A Williamsville regional championship, the Bullets 12th straight softball title.
Kaileigh Moser and Rylie Yard hit home runs for the Bullets, Aliya Oliver hit a solo shot for the Cardinals.
Williamsville advances to the 2A Gillespie sectional where they play the host Miners on Tuesday evening.
