Jack Schaaf did a little bit of everything early to keep the Prairie Stars out front and the bats woke up late as UIS beat Hillsdale 11-2 on Thursday in the opening round of the Division 2 baseball championship regionals at Robin Roberts Stadium.
The Prairie Stars advance to play Quincy on Friday at 5 p.m. at Robin Roberts Stadium.
