The 3A Danville Sectional was no joke. Ozzy Erewele, one of the best all-around area track athletes we’ve seen in awhile managed to qualify in four events for the Springfield Senators, but she was unable to take home first in any event. Between the six Senators and Glenwood Titans that moved on to State next weekend, none were able to pull out a first place finish but all stayed competitive enough to survive and advance.
