Both pitchers threw exceptionally well for a warm day with the wind blowing out to strong to right center field. Maya Black took advantage of that wind with a two run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning that proved to be the difference. Glenwood beat Rochester 3-1 to hand the Rockets their first CS8 conference loss of the season despite the 11 strikeouts from Reagan Miles.
Josie Long drove in a run for the Titans in the first and Jill Anderson had a RBI double to tie things up at 1 a piece in the third inning.
Glenwood will look for the sweep on Wednesday in Rochester.
