Anthony Clark pitched a great game but Jacob Maton got the run support for the win. Glenwood’s Maton pitched a complete game shutout, striking out 15 while getting RBI’s from Graham Bender, Jake Jurgens and Jackson Blough for the 3-0 win over Southeast.
Clark gave up one run in the third, one in the fourth and one in seventh, but Maton only gave up three hits in seven innings of work.
Southeast will travel to Chatham on Friday for the second game of the series.
