Glenwood was salting away a 1-0 game on Tuesday against Central State 8 rival SHG, but the Cyclones pushed them to the final seconds. Literally. SHG’s Faith Washko launched a shot on a rush with 15 seconds left to play that got past the Titans’ keeper only to hit the post. The near miss meant that the goal scored by Glenwood junior Carlie Smith would stand as the Titans nabbed an early season conference win.
