Southeast Bigs Set the Tone As Spartans Exact Revenge at MacArthur in Dominating Regional Championship Win

MacArthur clipped Southeast in Decatur as the Spartans were in the midst of the longest winning streak in head coach Lawrence Thomas’ career. In the rubber match to decide who would be advancing to the Decatur Eisenhower Sectional, the presence of Terrion Murdix was important, but it was the Spartan bigs that made the difference. Michael Tyler scored 22 points as Anthony Fairlee added 19 in a 94-81 win over MacArthur, a game that saw General Amir Brummett drop 39 points.
