MacArthur survived a stiff regional semifinal challenge from a 20-win Taylorville team, pulling away late to beat Tornadoes 70-59 on Wednesday. At the center of the Generals surge was Bradley recruit, Armon Brummett who scored 32 points to lead all scorers. MacArthur moves on to the regional championship Friday night where the Class 3A No. 10 Generals will host the No. 2 ranked team in 3A, the Southeast Spartans.
