He’s all too familiar with this spot. PORTA senior Trey Hild is headed to the Grand March at the State Farm Center on Saturday night.
In his final chance to capture that elusive state title, Hild will meet Zach Haley who handed him his only loss this season in the regional championship. Hild got Haley back and gave him his first loss in the sectional championship.
The rubber match for the 145 pound state title will happen Saturday night after Hild beat Brody Ivey from Newman Central Catholic on Friday in the semifinals. We have the highlights from that match as well as comments from Hild after he won.
