Williamsville had a shot to seal the Sangamo Conference Title Tuesday night at home against Riverton. The only problem? The Hawks gave them everything they had.
In a slow-starting offensive game, this one didn’t pick up until the second half, even going down to the wire. With the Bullets down four to Riverton in the final minute of the game, Griffin Keebler and Ryan Nevill led a furious comeback to seal a 44-42 win for Williamsville, effectively handing them the Sangamo Conference Title outright.
