Anthony Fairlee scored 14 first quarter points in route to a 27 point, 14 rebound double-double and the Spartans starters rested the entire fourth quarter as they handed Springfield High a 72-44 loss on Friday at Night Two of City Tournament. Kobe Medley hit a pair of three pointers and chipped in with 14 points.
Lanphier plays SHG in Friday’s night cap. A Lions win would provide a true City Tournament title game on Saturday between two teams ranked in the top five in the state.
