Williamsville had the ball inside the Byron 30 yard line four times, they had it inside the 20 yard line three times and they had it inside the five yard line twice and the Bullets never could come up with a score in a 13-0 loss to Byron in Saturday’s 3A quarterfinal at Paul Jenkins Field. The Bullets turned the ball over four times in the loss.
Byron ran 69 plays and racked up 358 yards on the ground in the win. Ricky Messling scored both touchdowns for the Tigers who advance to the 3A semifinals.
