There’s no official stat to prove the time of possession, but Glenwood dominated it. All that didn’t matter as Gibault needed just one goal to win and advance to the 2A state tournament. The Hawks scored with 19 minutes to play and were able to preserve a shutout to end Glenwood’s season at the UIS super sectional with a 1-0 loss.
Logan Doerr scored the game’s lone goal while goalie Connor Olson got the shutout, including blocking a Titan penalty kick in the first half.
