After stranding 11 base runners through five innings, Pleasant Plains found the hits they needed in the sixth. The Cardinals posted a three run inning to pull even at 4-4 with Tri-City Sangamon Valley in Monday’s rain delayed 2A Riverton regional championship. It took just one more half inning for Plains to find themselves trailing again, however. Georgia Miller drove in a pair with her game winning double in the bottom of the sixth and TCSV advanced to the 2A Williamsville Sectional.
