Glenwood’s Jacob Maton recorded 15 outs in five innings and all of those outs came by way of strikeout as the Titans crushed Lincoln, 11-0 in five innings. Maton’s velocity was noticeably higher on this warm day and the command of his fastball/slider combination made him nearly unhittable. Maton had his potential abbreviated perfect game broken up in the fifth inning on a Jacob Konczyk single. Maton raised 15 more dollars for K’s for Kids, thanks to Image Design & Landscaping, which is donating one dollar for every Glenwood strikeout to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Illinois.
