Cyclones Spoil Glenwood’s Plans For A Sweep With Timely Hitting

SHG first baseman Logan Tate came through in the clutch twice for the Cyclones on Wednesday night to lead his team to a 4-1 win over Glenwood.

A day after getting no hit by Reid Detmers, the Cyclones went to work against another Division 1 commit in Jacob Maton from Glenwood but they got to him early with two runs in the first and that proved to be all they needed.

Sam Raes limited the Titans to just one run through two plus innings and Austin Chapman came in and shut the door for the Cyclones who pull even at 1-1 in the CS8 with the Titans.
