Metro-East led by six in the first half but New Berlin never panicked. The Pretzels held the Knights to just four second quarter points and held off a late charge for a 49-46 win.
The win is the first ever sectional victory in school history for New Berlin and the Pretzels, under first year head coach Blake Lucas advance to the sectional championship on Friday night against Okawville.
