Auburn’s Caleb Nix at 113 pounds returns home from the 1A state tournament with a fourth place finish. Nix was the first Trojan wrestler to ever win a match at state and now becomes the first ever to reach the podium.
In 2A, Springfield High’s Jacquez Stewart (126) and Lanphier’s Brayan Reyes (220) both earned fifth place finishes. Both won their 5th/6th place match by injury forfeit.
