In the second quarter, Auburn hopped out to a 12-point lead on its home floor. There was no panic from the visiting Bluejays, though, even after trailing by nine at the half. PORTA surrendered just four third quarter points thanks to a half court zone press and came back on the back of sophomore, Vaughn Toyne to beat the Trojans, 56-43.
Toyne scored 21 points, including 10 in the third quarter. Mason Muller finished with 11 points and Max Muller added 10.
