Springfield High Takes City Led By Robinson’s Three Point Display Against SHG


 

Springfield High shot 62 percent from behind the arch, including five three-pointers from junior Ashley Robinson on their way to a 61-44 win over SHG for the 2017 girls City tournament championship.

Robinson, who was one of four Senators in double figures with 19, hit on 5 of 8 from three, while Monshianna Pulliam put up 12 points and 9 rebounds, Raina Gully added ten points and six assists and Ozzy Erewele  had ten points and five rebounds.

SHG got 13 points from Anna Lowis and 12 from Payton Vorreyer, but never could recover from a stretch in the second quarter when Robinson got hot from three and gave Springfield a 14 point lead.
